Our background
The Central Valley Youth Football & Cheer League (CVYFC) is a president-run league built on collaboration, transparency, and equal representation. Every organization in our league has a voice, and every president has a vote. Together, we make decisions that put our athletes first.
We proudly provide football and cheer programs for boys and girls ages 6–14, focused on building strong fundamentals, teamwork, and personal growth. Our programs are powered by committed volunteers who coach, mentor, and support our athletes both on and off the field.
Above all, we foster an environment of sportsmanship and community—where respect for ourselves, our teammates, our coaches, our families, and our communities is at the core of everything we do.
Our Mission
We are committed to teaching the fundamentals of football and cheer while building strong young leaders in our communities. Our programs encourage academic achievement, athletic development, and personal responsibility. We believe youth sports should empower every athlete—instilling confidence, teamwork, and respect, while strengthening the bond between families, programs, and the communities we proudly represent.
Our Teams
The Central Valley Youth Football & Cheer League is home to independent community programs from across the central valley. Each organization builds its own teams, trains its own athletes, and manages its own program, while competing together under one league.
Our teams compete with respect, sportsmanship, and a shared commitment to giving every athlete a safe and rewarding experience.
